The all-in-one construction of ARB’s Sportlid, paired with the unique hinge operation means that once fitted, it can be used with or without a factory Sportsbar. With the lid opening away from the cabin, clearance is allowed enabling the Sportsbar to pivot with the lid.
The standard gas-assist struts make both the opening and closing operation effortless. With the option for a heavy-duty strut upgrade, up to 25kg of static load can be accommodated – meaning the lid will comfortably open with up to 25kg of mounted load (i.e. pushbikes, timber or a swag).
The Sportlid’s sturdy swing away grip handle offers a sturdier grab-point when opening and closing the lid.
For seamless integration, the Sportlid’s sleek design continues on the aesthetic lines of the vehicle.
The perfect platform for a huge range of lifestyle accessories, ARB’s Sportlid is compatible with Thule and Rhino-Rack cross bars which mount directly onto the top of the Sportlid.
Running along the top edge of the Sportlid, two T-Slot tracks allow for the simple and easy installation of roof racks or roof bars. From bike racks, fishing rod holders and surfboard holders to roof pods, roof cages and more – all of these carrier systems are suitable! Plus, the rated capacity of 75kg dynamic load (driving) means the platform is equally as suitable to a rooftop tent; the static load will comfortably handle your rooftop tent with occupants and luggage.
